This webinar will help you identify both threats and opportunities that affect your financial security. While you may have many successes in the arena, even the best horse professionals often have little financial security during and/or at the end of their careers. For most horse business owners, even an injury that puts them temporarily out of commission (30 -60 days) can be enough to create substantial financial difficulties. You will learn several different options to help you protect your equestrian career and business.
About the Speakers
Sheryl L. Kursar, APR - Managing Director of the Equestrian Aid Foundation
Sheryl joined the Equestrian Aid Foundation nearly five years ago as a public relations/marketing volunteer after a friend was seriously injured during a competition and needed help to supplement his insurance benefits. Later Sheryl was hired as the managing director, in addition to her responsibilities on the board of directors. The Equestrian Aid Foundation is a national nonprofit, which financially assists equestrians, horsemen and equine-related professionals who are suffering from catastrophic illnesses or injuries. The foundation provides funding for medical, rehabilitation, and essential expenses – such as food and housing – throughout a time of need. It provides hope and support to help recipients cope through crisis and get back on their feet.
