Lunging is an Art - Part 1

Lunging is an ART and, like riding, requires coordination and the ability to analyze what you see and feel in order to make corrections. It is a valuable training tool for horses at any stage of training and, when done correctly, the horse's training will benefit a great deal. Some people feel it is time consuming and hard on the horse. If the footing is bad, the circle too small and the duration of the session too long, it can indeed be harmful.
