"As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind....we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives." - Henry David Thoreau

Members of Equestrian Professional who are looking for Sports Performance Resources generally follow one of two paths.  They either like to cruise around the site picking and choosing various articles and downloads or they want to follow the RSG System.

Here are some Tips and Recommendations for both types of members and specific instructions for those of you who wish to follow the RSG Equestrian Sports Perforamance System.

Tips & Recommendations:

It is a good idea to date, save and/or print your completed assessments as they provide you with valuable information about your riding and you may want to refer to them in the future.

Most competitive riders take the assessments on a semi-regular basis to check thier progress and thier current competitive state.

Don't forget to use the One on One get started help that is available to all our year membership holders.  You can use it at any time. Often the best plan is to review the material and then get help with the specific areas that are most important to you.

Take your time, you will be learning skills and information that you will likely be using for years to come.

Draw on support articles and additional downloads to increase your knowledge, motivation and capabilities.

Keep coming back to the site as there are always new articles, downloads and exercises to help you stay motivated and on top of your game.

Stay in contact. Let us know via email what areas you would like help with and we'll respond, either in our general ongoing e-mail support or we'll send you a personal e-mail with help and support.

RSG System Instructions:

1. The RSG System is easy to follow, simply go to the RSG System page and pick an area you'd like to focus on -- Performing, Intensity, Energy or Strength. Each area has one foundation article and one assessment download.

2. Read  the Article for that area to learn the important principles and concepts

3. Complete the Download for that area to discover how the principles and concepts apply specifically to you and your riding.

4. Read whatever supplemental material you wish for each area in their respective departments - Performing, Intensity, Energy & Strength Follow this process for each key area.

5. Begin using the Target & Track Journal to help you target the actions that will make the biggest difference in your riding success and track your progress.

6. Have fun -- poke around the site -- watch videos, read stories and new articles. We post content weekly and often daily, our site is always fresh with new material.

7. Stay committed to the process.  The RSG System works! and while you will benefit instantly from the material, lasting change takes practice and repetition. It took time to turn into the rider you are today and it will take time to turn into the rider you want to be.

 TESTIMONIALS

Here's what our members are saying ...

"I can't say enough about how valuable your site is to our barn."
  So-Cal H/J Trainer

"Elisabeth's development of the "Equestrian Professional" Website brought a much needed financial template to the U.S.E.A. Instructor Certification Program. We on the committee thank her for coming to New Orleans and speaking at our annual meeting. Her insight into the financial matters that are so necessary in the equestrian community will be invaluable to professionals at all levels. We recommend her highly and believe her innovative website will set a new standard of excellence."

Brian Sabo - United States Eventing Association ICP Committee Member

"The first download I did - nailed exactly what was going on with me!"

"I signed up a couple months ago and found that just taking the time to read through their stuff puts me in the mindset to think wisely about my business, In fact, I made a pretty sketchy little marketing plan and shortly thereafter I sold three good horses and pulled myself out of debt, right when the economy has been tanking. This kind of business management tool is only what you make of it, but Elisabeth McMillan and her staff have done some really good work on behalf of horse professionals"
