VIDEO EXCERPT
How to Structure Equine Syndicates, Partnerships and Private Sponsorships

Event: How to Structure Equine Syndicates, Partnerships and Private Sponsorshisp
Speaker: Yvonne Ocrant, Attorney at Law
Date: February 21, 2011

Equine syndicates and partnerships can bring in much needed venture capital to horse professionals of all disciplines who have the skills but not the financial resources to purchase the horses necessary to reach their full potential in their equestrian careers and horse businesses.

The ability to work with top horses, whether for sale or to help you reach your competition goals, can positively affect the course of your equestrian career and ultimately, the success of your horse business.

But the benefits don't stop there. Equine syndicates and partnerships can provide considerable value to your clients and other investors who participate. From tax benefits to profit potential and from the thrill of owning a top level horse to supporting the sport they love, the reasons for participating are as diverse as the horses themselves.

Syndicates and partnerships come in a lot of different shapes and sizes, whether purchasing (or adopting) a group of ex-racehorses to retrain and sell, building value in a breeding stallion, or acquiring a million dollar grand prix horse - an important key to success is determining what type of structure (both legal and practical) is best for each situation.

This seminar adressed the different options and legal considerations for structuring equine syndicates and partnerships.
